Wax melter (holds 10 pounds wax) is an economical and easy way to melt your wax in 30-90 minutes. This wax melter is very compact and durable piece of wax processing equipment and includes an aluminum strainer basket to hold chunks of raw wax for warming. The lid is made of heavy duty glass with a metal rim and heat resistant handle – having the lid on contains the heat and speeds the beeswax warming process.
- Includes an attached valve for easy removal of melted beeswax.
- We recommend using strainer cloth (Polyester Strainer Cloth) or another semi-heat resistant filter to filter your liquid beeswax (strainer cloth sold separately).
- Melted wax can be drained directly into beeswax bar molds and allowed to harden (takes approx 15 minutes)
DO NOT exceed warm setting on control. Heating bees wax beyond this setting will cause discoloration.
The flashpoint of beeswax is 400° F (204.4° C). DO NOT HEAT WAX TO 400° F (204.4° C).
