Wax cut comb foundation is the thinnest foundation available and is used for producing comb honey in either the Ross Round system or by using a standard frame and a comb cutter. For the best results use a wedged top bar and grooved bottom bar. Support pins can be used for extra stability holding the comb honey foundation.
Wax Cut Comb Foundation / Thin Surplus sizes:
- 5 5/8″ x 16 1/2″ for 6 1/4 medium frames, approx. 400 sheets per 25 pound box
- 4 3/4″ x 16 1/2″ for 5 3/8″ shallow frames, approx. 450 sheets per 25 pound box
- 4″ x 16 1/2″ for ross round frames and cut comb frames, approx. 450 sheets per 25 pound box
