Wax brood foundation is 100% pure unreinforced beeswax foundation. For the best results use a wedged top bar and split bottom bar. Must be reinforced with cross wiring.
Available wax brood foundation sizes:
- 8 1/2″ x 16 3/4″ for 9 1/8″ deep frames, approx. 175 sheets per 25 pound box
- 5 5/8″ x 16 3/4″ for 6 1/4″ medium frames, approx. 275 sheets per 25 pound box
- 4 3/4″ x 16 3/4″ for 5 3/8″ shallow frames, approx. 300 sheets per 25 pound box
Beeswax is fragile in hot and cold temperatures. All beeswax foundation ships at the customers own risk for damage. Special shipping restrictions may apply to wax foundation during cold weather months. Please call 815-521-9116 for details.
