About the Author:

Dewey M. Caron is a graduate of Cornell University and Emeritus Professor from the University of Delaware. He has received numerous awards and forms of recognition for his teaching and extension work during his career. Lawrence John Connor is a graduate of Michigan State University. With a background in university extension and commercial bee breeding, Connor owns and operates Wicwas Press, the major publisher of beekeeping books in North America. He is the author of four other books on bees and beekeeping: Increase Essentials, Bee Sex Essentials, Queen Rearing Essentials and Bee-sentials: A Field Guide with Robert G. Muir.
